We have launched our new line of Super Plain Jane cues and expect these to be an immediate hit. We've done a lot of work with the pricing - we are offering an exceptional value, especially for a high performance cue.

Every Super Plain Jane will feature our high performance construction: 8-piece, radial laminated, full-length core @ .750" diameter. This core is larger than most other cored cues on the market. Not to mention, very few cue makers offer a full-length core in their cues. What's the advantage? A cored cue is simply a more solid construction. The "hit" does not rely on the type of wood that provides aesthetics for the cue, whatever that wood may be (maple, cocobolo, purple heart, tulip, etc...). In other words, if you purchase a cue that is made up of wood that is considered "weaker" than, say, straight grain maple, the cored construction in a Dominiak cue will eliminate this concern and allow the cue perform at a high level, as it should. This translates into a more solid hit with more feedback, and ultimately a better all-around feel.

Note: Predator has recently introduce a couple of multi-piece cored cues - most notably the "C4". They have billed this - in so many words - as new technology. We have been producing cues with a 8-piece, radial laminated full-length core since 2001 and feel that we have perfected this construction.

We are offering the Super Plain Jane with many combinations of woods (wrap or wrapless) and a veneer ring option without violating what a plain jane cue is all about, beautiful hardwoods.

Our web developer has developed a "cue calculator" for the SPJ website page that allows you to quickly build a SPJ cue with the many different combinations of woods and various options (wrap or wrapless and rings) then spits out a total on the fly. We will frequently update the list of exotic woods to choose from, so check back from time to time.
