Each maple section for the D2 is hand selected for grain density and straightness. Only high quality maple is used for assembly.
This example illustrates how each maple section comes together to form a radial construction.
These are the resulting D2 radial laminated dowels after they have been turn down. These dowels will now be graded – those that don’t meet our standards will be disposed.
The finished D2 shaft shown here has a Uni-Loc radial pin joint style. Most common joint styles are available with our “Ready-to-Play” shaft.
Every D2 shaft is fitted with our custom machined melamine linen ferrule and a Kamui layered tip.

cue the wood grain is always vertical - giving you consistence

shaft does not have hollow sections. Combine this with a newly
redesigned melamine ferrule and a Kamui layered tip. The result
is a solid hitting, low deflection shaft with exceptional feedback.
